This site has been written by qualified and experienced English teachers. Some have worked in the past at the British Council teaching IELTS and some are current examiners for the IELTS exam. Who could be better to write a website to help you with the IELTS exam?
We decided to write this site in order to give students free advice regarding the exam and we also wanted to provide practice tests for students, as they are so expensive. We have to maintain our site so we charge for the tests and this money will help us continue our site in the future for other IELTS candidates. The amount that we charge though is a fraction of what books cost and we provide more material. Slowly we will improve and add to the site giving more assistance to IELTS students.
The IELTS HELP NOW practice test are not genuine IELTS tests. Nor are any of the tests based on any past or existing IELTS tests. They have been written in line with published IELTS guidelines and have been written to resemble as closely as possible the type of things that candidates will have to do in the real tests.
Texts used in the Practice tests have been invented by the materials writers or have been taken from appropriate sources and then adapted to suit the needs of the practice tests. If any material has been used by other writers, full copyright permission has been obtained. If you wish to find out more about the copyright, please click on the appropriate link on the home page.
The practice tests have been tested and revised with students preparing for IELTS tests and students and teachers have given extensive feedback on the tests in order to make them of the correct standard and level. We at ieltshelpnow.com would really appreciate your feedback on our tests. Please feel free to contact us at any time and give us your criticism – both positive and negative – concerning any errors or improvements that you feel might benefit future users of our practice tests. You can contact us on the appropriate link on the home page.
There is a self-teaching section here on our site in order to help students learn about the IELTS test and to give them hints and ideas to improve their exam skills. However, doing an IELTS test is essentially a practical task and practice is really vital for full and efficient preparation. Practice tests are available in book shops (see appropriate link on the links page) or for ordering but there is very little practice material available on the internet. What we here at ieltshelpnow.com have done is to give you a selection of tests that you will be able to download directly to your PC so you can print them out and practise them at home. These tests have been written to give you a wide range of practice for your final IELTS test. All the help sections are free and can be read or printed directly from our site.
