This was my second attempt. Although I had managed to get a decent overall score of 8 in my first attempt the reading section in which I had scored 6.5 (due to a very common and silly mistake of not reading instructions properly) was a cause of concern and I had to reappear again.

It was difficult to prepare for the exam again as I was working full time and had very little time to dedicate to IELTS this time around. Your academic books helped me immensely to work on my reading skills in a short span of time.

I believe that your tests have been very helpful in my preparation for the test.

I sat the exam on March 25th and spent about 3 months to prepare for it. My focus was was to learn the format and specifics of the IELTS exam. For that purpose I needed to try test exams which were as close as possible to the real one to correctly evaluate my readiness for the exam.

Now, after having sat and successfully passed the exam (listening – 8, reading – 9, writing – 6, speaking – 7) I can confirm that my scores matched my final result almost perfectly.

My wife has much less advanced English skills so this exam was quite a challenge for her. From doing the practice she learned the exam format, timings etc but what is more important her scores in the test exams helped to increase her confidence and led to good marks. So, on your behalf I can tell you that your tests had a big impact on her.

Finally, being able to download the materials immediately after the purchase was a big plus for us as we do not have many options in our location to order that sort of thing by post.

Overall, I would highly recommend your materials for people who prepare for their IELTS.

The sample tests that I purchased from you were VERY useful. As it turned out, the test was in exactly the same format as your examples. I would not have been able to achieve my 8 overall score on my own. Using these samples is a very efficient way of preparing, taking the guesswork and anxiety out of the equation. I found the listening test examples to be particularly helpful because, in the real test, these take place quite fast and you really need to be able to focus on the listening, not the format.

I downloaded all the tests right away and did not have any problems with them. It was useful to find complete test sets so every day I took a complete test, thereby getting comfortably used to the real test.

I applied only 2 weeks before the test. I had never heard about it before so I tried to find out as much as I could. I bought your help material online a few months ago so as to improve on my IELTS band scores since I intend to emigrate to Australia as a physician.

Tha fact is I have always performed in the upper nineties percentile in previous TOEFL administrations. I never had to take any preparatory courses. My last TOEFL exam was done in Aug. 2003 and I scored 640. Obviously TOEFL was no problem for me. I had also scored 6/6 in the Test of Written English component.

I therefore approached my first IELTS test in February with a lot of confidence and with minimal preparation. When the result came out in March for the IELTS, I did not make the requirement the Australian board had stipulated. The board wanted an overall band of 7 and not less than 6.5 in each of the bands. I scored 8 in the writing band, 7 in the reading band, 7 in the speaking band and pitifully 6 in the listening band! I missed the mark by 0.5 and now had to wait 3 months to re-sit the exam. This is where I must thank your organisation for being there for people like me who need practical hints on the best time-tested strategies required to excel in this particular exam.

Having taken the time to study your help material, I am able to appreciate where I had erred that first time around. I have been able to come to terms with my weak areas, especially in the listening component. I am very confident now that I will do very well indeed.

I do definitely strongly recommend your program to the candidate who really wishes to cross the IELTS hurdle successfully.

I have successfully completed the IELTS exam. I got a band score of 8. The individual break up being 8,7.5,8 and 9 in listening, reading, writing and speaking respectively.

Your question papers and audios were very useful. I had no surprises in the exam with all parts being very similar to the practice papers. I would like to mention that I did not try any other practice papers, audios or books. I feel your practice papers are more than adequate for most people who have had their basic education in English.

I congratulate you for the help you offer through your site. The Practice Tests helped me a lot to achieve the score that I needed in my IELTS test. They are similar to the real test. By practising with them you realize better where your weaknesses are and you work more to improve your language skills. Also they help increase your self-confidence on the test day. I gained a lot from the tutorials and the suggestions you give for each section of the test.

Something I’d like to mention is that the price is really good. It is less than 40 Canadian dollars and private tutors charge this amount of money for one hour of lesson. In addition to that it is really easy to download them. It takes 5 minutes and the quality is the best. Last year I purchased a book with practice tests from another site. They sent me the book and no audio cassette. So I had to make another order, pay again a good amount of money and wait four more weeks for the audio material.

I cannot end this message without a few words about the excellent customer service you provide. You answer promptly to all the enquiries and questions that I had.

For me, this is the best practice test because this is like the real test. I rate it as EXCELLENT. Three days ago I bought another downloadable practice test in another website and believe me it is a waste of money. It didn’t help me because the sample practice test is all easy mulitiple choice questions and that is not an IELTS test. I got ripped off on that product. I am immensely satisfied with the IELTS practice tests that I bought from the website: IELTSHelpNow.com.

The practice tests were much more affordable than the Cambridge IELTS book. Downloading the tests into the computer was easy to do. I got all the five tests without problems. I was glad that the listening practice tests recordings were clear and understandable.

In comparing the practice tests with the actual test, I think the tests had the same types of questions in the actual test, thus, providing me with a good idea of what to expect in the actual IELTS test.

The practice tests were a great help for me in preparing for the actual IELTS exam. Not only the tests but also all the other tips and advice in the website helped me a lot. I was able to get the passing results that I needed.
